Natalie Michaels has been performing in musical theatre since the age of six, her first role being in the child's chorus of Evita at an outdoor summer theatre in Danbury, CT. She has studied dance since the age of five, performing ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and theatre in studios throughout New York City and Connecticut. Her favorite credits include City of Angels (Oolie/Donna), Hairspray (Amber von Tussle), Into the Woods (Rapunzel), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Susannah (Mrs. Hayes), Taming of the Shrew (Bianca), and The Music Man (Marian). Staged reading and premieres include a reading for a musical Greenbrier Ghost where she originated the role of Lizzy in Connecticut, and the premiere of Embers and Stars: The Story of Petr Ginz, where she originated the roles of the Gendarme, Flutist, and a Schoolchild at Wake Forest University in the Spring of 2014. 

 

Her more recent projects include professional work in summer stocks around the country. In September 2015, she attended the National Music Theater Institute (NMTI) at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT for a post-graduate study in musical theatre. As a member of the 34 student ensemble, she helped write, develop, and perform in Because of Reasons, a group showcase performance in the Dina Merrill Theater at the O'Neill Center in mid-December. From May 2016-January 2017, she was a resident Springhouse Entertainer at the renown Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. She occasionally loves a good book, crocheting, a bubble bath, her cats Missy and Ella, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family. As of March 2017, she is a full time Manhattan resident continuing to pursue her career.
